Marsh Academy open new Enhanced Engineering Room
On the 15th of July 2010, the new Enhanced Engineering Room at the Marsh Academy in New Romney, Kent, was officially opened. This impressive new facility was sponsored by LJ Create and will offer the latest in teaching resources.
The new facility at the Marsh Academy, sponsored by LJ Create, who provided the engineering teaching resources for the room, will allow students to benefit from a range of the latest teaching resources.
These resources offer engaging hands-on activities, exciting software-based lessons and interactive simulations and will support the delivery of the Centre’s vocational engineering qualifications.
During the open event, staff and students demonstrated the use of the equipment and software to groups of local Dignitaries, Governors and Parents.
Damian Breeze, LJ Create’s Marketing Director, attended the event together with David Attwell, Regional Sales Manager for the area.
After the event, Damian Breeze, commented "This new facility is an excellent example of how industry can support education. We are extremely pleased with the work they have done here at the Marsh Academy in developing the enhanced engineering room that our resources have been installed into. It is a credit to the vision of the senior staff at the Academy, to create a first class engineering teaching facility in this part of Kent".
