SRS base USB drivers for Windows 7 64-bit

This update provides a new driver installation for the ClassAct SRS base to be used when installing on to a Windows 7 64-bit operating system.

The current release of ClassAct SRS (Version 1.2D and earlier) only provides drivers for 32-bit operating systems. Therefore the ClassAct SRS system will not be able to communicate with the SRS base on a 64-bit operating system until these drivers are installed.

This updated driver installation provides newer drivers for both 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems.

After downloading the updated drivers zip file, proceed as follows:

1. Extract all of the files within the downloaded zip file to a folder. Ensure that the files are extracted using the same folder structure as the zip file.
2. Install ClassAct SRS off of the ClassAct SRS installation CD following the on-screen instructions.
3. Plug in the SRS base into a free USB port. The operating system will indicate that a suitable driver for the hardware could not be found.
4. Start Device Manager from the System option within Control Panel.
5. Under the Other Devices heading right click on the RF Host item and select Update Driver Software.
6. Select the Browse my computer for driver software option.
7. In the location area browse to the folder where you have extracted the files to.
8. Once the driver has been installed a new item named USB Serial Port will appear under the other devices heading. Right click on this item and update the driver software following the above steps.
9. Once this driver has been successfully installed ClassAct SRS will successfully communicate with the SRS base.
