More icons than workstations on the mimic screen

Reason - because the Management Station believes there are new workstations.
To solve this problem - You need to rescan the network. If the problem persists, it is probable that the student workstation ini file (ljlnch.ini in the windows directory) has been set to read only. You will need to make sure that the file is not read only to fix the problem.

If you are using Windows NT, 2000 or XP, you may not be able to change the properties of the file unless you are logged on as an administrator or you have been given this ability by your administrator.

Once the problem has been fixed, the file can be set back to read only again.
