Why can't the Student Workstations connect to the Management PC

  • Make sure ClassAct is running and the Network Manager has been started.
  • Make sure no one has changed the IP Address of the management system.
    To check the IP address, from the Start menu, choose Run and type in winipcfg and press OK. (for Win 95 and 98)
    For NT, XP and W2k, from Start, Programs, Command prompt, type in ipconfig and press Enter. This then needs to be chacked against the IP address the launcher is trying to reach.
