Which Windows operating system versions does LJ software support?
All our products are tested on the latest versions of Windows. As new Windows versions are released we will endeavour to test and correct any issues found as quickly as possible. Please check our website for the most up to date information (e.g. See FAQ1269 for details on Windows 7).
Microsoft identifies in advance the level of support it will provide for its Windows operating systems and service packs in its Support Lifecycle policy. As Microsoft drops extended support for older platforms, LJ Create will also cease testing on them. This doesn’t mean that existing products will no longer function but it does mean that updates to an existing LJ product, or new LJ products will no longer be fully tested on unsupported systems.
Any special requirements for a particular LJ product will be identified on our website.
In the interest of maintaining a secure up to date operating system, it is recommended that you update your operating system in line with Microsoft’s Lifecycle policy.
Note: The Microsoft Support Lifecycle policy indicates that extended support for Windows 2000 and Windows XP Service Pack 2 ceases on 13th July 2010.
