Skills and Knowledge Content
At least 50% of each Principal Learning Unit must be applied learning. Applied Learning enables students to acquire and apply knowledge, skills and understanding through tasks set in sector specific real-work contexts.
Following schemes of work produced by our educational specialists, our resources encompass Applied Learning at every opportunity.
These schemes of work also provide useful references to text books and websites and additional suggestions for sector-focussed activities.
Clicking on the following buttons will show you some examples from our Hydraulics module, just one of our wide ranges of Diploma resources. These do not represent a complete solution to the delivery of a Diploma unit, but are simply to highlight the type of resources we can supply.
Unit Assessment
Units 1 to 7 are internally assessed. Our educational specialists have produced planning documentation that will help the practitioner with delivery and assessment.
These materials include; schemes of work, student assessment briefs and tasks, and unit assessment marking sheets.
