Electronic Circuit Patchboard
D3000 5.0
The D3000 5.0 Electronic Circuits patchboard module allows students to build and evaluate a wide range of electronic circuits, including:
- A simple lamp circuit
- A polarity tester
- An LED lamp circuit
- An automatic light circuit
- A freezer temperature alarm
- An intruder alarm
- A flashing doorbell
- A continuity tester
- A time delay circuit
- An AC to DC converter
- A baby alarm
- A road crossing controller
The included component set provides carrier-mounted components and integrated circuits (ICs) for direct insertion into the patchboard. The patchboard also includes eight switched faults for use in student fault-finding activities. The switched faults may either be activated manually under teacher control, or automatically when students use the optional ST450 eContent learning materials.
The patchboard has been designed to mount onto either of the following types of D3000 base unit:
- D3000 Experiment Platform
- D3000 Virtual Instrument Platform
