Engineering SCORM Pack A

This eLearning pack of teaching resources for a SCORM compliant Virtual Learning Environment covers the topic of Engineering.

This pack of modules cover electronic engineering, electrical engineering.  It also includes design and manufacture exercises.

• Students will investigate the scientific and engineering principles behind each technology and learn about the applications of each technology. 
• They will learn how to construct electrical circuits and see what happens if a circuit is setup incorrectly.
• Students will use a simulator to design a passenger transportation system for an airport.
• Students will learn how a plastic injection molder works and use a software simulation to make parts for specific purposes.
• They will also learn how to program a simulated production line t sort parts in a factory.

This package contains a blended learning mixture of both practical commercially valuable skills and the scientific knowledge to back them up.

The curriculum materials for this strand are broken down into four self-contained topic areas (see below), each with a series of interactive and practicle based tasks.
