Why does the computer connect to the camera, but all I see on the monitor is a black screen during playback or capture?
- Some graphic cards do not fully support video overlay, even when the EZDV test program reports that overlay is supported and a connection has been correctly established between the camera and computer. One of the symptoms of this is that the video will not appear on the computer monitor and only a black box will be visible. Sometimes. the video will flicker when the program window is dragged around the screen.
- This problem can often be solved by changing the resolution and/or the color depth in the display settings.
