I can't broadcast or send messages

This occurs when the RS232 setting in ClassAct administration has been set to look for units on a RS232 network.

To switch RS232 off,

  1. Close the ClassAct Management application and start ClassAct System Administration.
  2. Access Network Manager Settings.
  3. Click on Setup Network Communications.
  4. In the RS232 operation section ensure the Comm Port is set to NONE.

Exit ClassAct System Administration and broadcasting will be available again
