Adobe Flash install may fail with 'Error 1904'

Symptoms
The installation of Adobe/Macromedia Flash version 8 fails with an 'Error 1904' if a security patch from Microsoft has previously been installed.
This affects a number of CDs including, CD435, CD720, CD1231, CD1248.

Workaround
If you encounter this error, download and install Adobe/Macromedia Flash 9 player from their website. ( www.adobe.com)

Cause
The Microsoft Patch described in article KB913433 is intended to fix a security issue in the version of Flash shipped with Windows XP and some versions of Internet Explorer 6. However, installation of this patch will prevent Flash from being upgraded to version 8 supplied on the above listed CDs.

Status
The above listed CDs are being updated to include Adobe Flash Version 9 (which does not have this issue).
