What is the minimum specification of computer needed to run any of the scanTEK engineering modules?
Each scanTEK engineering module requires a minimum of:
Operating System: Windows® 2000, XP.
CPU: 500 MHz or higher Pentium-compatible Central Processing Unit (CPU).
Memory: 512 megabytes (MB) of RAM recommended.
Video: 8 megabytes (MB) of RAM recommended.
Hard Disk: Dependent upon number of modules. 500MB per module (minimum).
Drives: DVD drive
Display: 800x600 or higher resolution with True Color.
Peripherals: Keyboard and mouse or compatible pointing device (optional).
Sound Card: 16-Bit sound card.
Ports: 1 free parallel port, 1 free serial port, 1 free USB port.
Network: Ethernet network adapter.
Expansion slots: 1 Free PCI slot.
