The Rocks Kit contains a range of rock samples for investigations into the types, formation, and origin of rocks. The kit allows for group investigation, when students take turns to select a rock to analyze.

There are 16 rock types to study, including:        

• Basalt
• Chalk
• Limestone

The Rocks Kit is contained in a labeled storage box to allow for easy identification and selection during classroom activities. An inventory system provides simple resource management to enable replenishment of any consumable items.
